Season 3. No Duncan!
that's a valid point.
The only problem with that logic is that it doesn't acknowledge the douche-cannon that is Piz.
All things being equal, Duncan suck = Piz suck. Duncan leaves in the middle of Season 2 and Piz does not arrive until the beginning of Season 3. Season 2 has the least effeminate-male-love-interest screen time.
So, based on your criteria, Season 2 is the best.
I like how Slogan just told Moronica what Moronica's favorite season is. And the thing is, he's totally right.

Piz is a douche. But it's not just the character Duncan I hate. I also couldn't stand the actor. And most of all I hated the whole Duncan story line. He runs off to australia or something to be a dad?! wtf.
and anyway. 'no duncan' is not the whole list of reasons why I like season three best. it probably doesn't even make the top 5. but it is my favorite reason.
And another thing, Echoes.

Season 3, solely because of Logan. I would fuck Season 3 Logan so hard.
Molly probably does have "old logic books" but I've not read them, not even two pages.
Much like her dog language, book logic doesn't interest me in the slightest.

while i dislike justifying my choice of Season One as Superior using entirely negatives, here goes:
-no weird extended cafe open mic singing scenes
-less Duncan, more Logan
-no Jackie (Wallace's inferior girlfriend)
-no Piz, no Parker, no Tim Foyle
-no Gia Goodman (no Woody Goodman, as long as we're on the subject)
